Do I need to know the PPWR?
No. Pack Trail asks for the PPWR details one by one and explains each of them. The legal wording in the declaration comes from Pack Trail.
What do I need to know about my packaging?
A description of the packaging and what it is used for, whether it is single-use or reusable, and which standards were applied. You also confirm the PPWR requirements on substances, backed by documents from your suppliers.
Which documents should I add?
Supplier declarations, specifications, technical drawings or test reports. They form the technical documentation, and you link each one to the details it supports.
Who has to issue a DoC?
The manufacturer of the packaging, and in many cases the seller who puts it on the EU market under their own name.
Can I update a DoC later?
Yes. Change the packaging details or add a PDF and generate a new version. Earlier versions stay on file.
